Position: Assistant of Open Innovation and Projects Manager

 

Job Description:

You will be working mainly on the following programs: 

  • Open Innovation Programs: Develop projects with corporates, especially using open innovation concepts. Ex. help organize the Open Innovation Program for EIT Digital and EIT Food

  • EAT Circular Project: Project will develop training sessions to promote best practices of food waste reduction in collective food companies (e.g. canteens). Financed by EIT Climate-KIC

  • Trace - Rice Project: Project focuses on tracing rice value chain (ex. using blockchain concepts) to promote and value side streams along Mediterranean rice production
     

You're tasks will focus on:

  • Scout for corporate and startups to participate on the Open Innovation programs

  • Participate on the project management of the projects

  • Identify possible partnerships for the projects

  • Collaborate on developing the project's deliverables 

  • Keep all communication and brand image updated

  • Other necessary tasks.
     

Skills needed (required or preferred):

  • Project Management skills 

  • Proficiency in English

  • Proactivity and ability to work under pressure

  • Team player

  • Organized and strategic thinking
     

Background (required or preferred): Economics; Management, Marketing, Engineering

Position: Assistant of Sustainability and Food Project Manager

 

Job Description:

You will be working with 3 programs focused on sustainability, namely: 

  • EIT Climate KIC: Most relevant network in Europe to fight climate change, with financed opportunities for students, startups and corporates from Portugal. 

  • EIT Food: Main network in Europe for the food industry with financed opportunities for students, startups and corporates from Portugal

  • I-Danha Food Lab: Accelerator and funding to sustainable SME and startups in the food production/transformation/distribution sector to operate in Idanha-a-Nova
     

You're tasks will focus on:

You will have to identify possible partnerships for the programs;

  • Scouting: Direct sale as presence in events, phone calls, emails;

  • Program management: Continuously check if the startups need help, put them in contact with the mentors, check if the meetings happen, if the business plan is evolving;

  • Make presentations of startups to key people;

  • Ideate about initiatives to help startups to have more clients and to obtain investment;

  • Keep all communication and brand image updated of the project;

  • Support to startups, with a view to improve their business (consulting);

  • Other necessary tasks.

Position: Project assistant – operations

 

Job Description:

You will be working with 3 programs namely: 

  • EIT Health Bridgehead: internationalization of European healthcare companies

  • Food4Sustainability CoLAB: collaborative laboratory (CoLAB) focused on sustainable food production (15 members including universities, polytechnical institutes, corporations, farmers’ organisations and SME)
     

You're tasks will focus on:

You will have to identify possible partnerships for the programs;

  • Identify and engage partners to involve in collaborative projects

  • Identify and assess leads and opportunities in healthcare and sustainable food production

  • Develop project concepts and consortia

  • Write applications to co-funding programs and proposals to customers

  • Execute project tasks, keep records and report to project management
     

Skills needed (required or preferred):

  • Project management

  • Proactivity and ability to work under pressure

  • Organized and strategic thinking
