5 Benefits of Immersive Entrepreneurship Workshops

This weekend was in full swing! Those who paid attention to our social media probably know that the BGI team was at NOVA School of Business and Economics (Lisbon) together with Oceano Azul Foundation, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, BlueBio Alliance and around 40 participants of the Blue Bio Value Ideation!

Blue Bio Value Ideation is a 48-hour workshop for those who want to have an experience in the startup ecosystem. The participating teams had the opportunity to attend sessions with experts in the area - from companies such as Jerónimo Martins, DELTA and Seaentia -, create business ideas in the blue bioeconomy area and learn how to pitch them in front of investors and customers. In the end, the Final Pitch Competition winners received an incredible prize: the opportunity to develop their startup and to start a pilot with our support! Amazing, right?

During these last 2 days, we also had the opportunity to realize that entrepreneurship has emerged as an interesting subject among young students. In fact, this can be seen as a viable career option among the current generation.

So if you're wondering if you can be an entrepreneur... The answer is, YES!
