It's been a couple of weeks since BGI's Greatest Bootcamp took place, a 5-day event where several startups from 4 different acceleration programs were featured. Since then, we've come to believe even more that our startups are great examples for aspiring entrepreneurs to seek out and learn from. So today we present you Prixmon.
Prixmon is one of the companies being accelerated by the BGI Accelerator program, our oldest program, with 12 editions.
If, like Prixmon, you want to start your own deep-tech business, read on.
What makes Prixmon unique
The concept is surprisingly simple: in an effective process, Prixmon will help you test your website performance and prepare a better service for your customers.
This is only possible thanks to a high-tech solution that allows you to monitor, forecast and recommend the best action to manage your online business.
More than that, Prixmon is one step ahead as it helps you to predict most disaster failures before they happen. In other words, you will no longer have to stress about high load times, bandwidth issues, resource management or any attacks. To do this predictive activity, they use both the flow data of the business itself, as well as global Internet data related to the customers' field of activity.
But if you thought that was all, you're wrong. Thanks to the deep integration of AI, big data analytics and ML, Prixmon customers will never have to pay extra fees for overrated features. They already have the ideal tool to estimate the amount of resources needed for a fast and optimized website.
A business with a scientific and professional background and big plans
The story of this startup started with one thing in mind: solving a problem that we all experience nowadays, especially now during the Covid-19 pandemic, where we are all using the internet more often. The problem is service interruption or the latency of a website, application or IoT platform.
That's what brought together 3 entrepreneurs: Mahdi Faghihi, Mohammad Seirafi Nejad and Reza Arani.
Mahdi Faghihi is the CEO of Prixmon. He completed his PhD in 2014 and has been working as a business analyst. He is currently a project manager and senior researcher at the Rics research group (uninova-lisboa).
Mohammad Seirafi Nejad is a team leader, project manager and infrastructure and network designer.
Reza Arani is a highly experienced professional in software, hardware and infrastructure design and development, being involved in several software development projects.
Together, these entrepreneurs created a startup that offers a service described in just 4 words: user-friendly, all-in-one, customizable and economic.
The company already has several clients and an annual income of 96,180 euros. However, in the next 12 months, after the investment, they aim to increase the number of partnerships and raise their annual income to 2,198,880 euros.
